JOB DESCRIPTION
Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) "LZS" offers AMIL ZAKAT career opportunities to birth of Selangor or who has been residing in the State of Selangor for at least 5 years to fill vacancies for the Manager Integrity Unit.
PURPOSE OF POSITION :
To assist the Head Risk Management to plan, develop and implement policies and procedures related to integrity function encompassing four main scopes of complaints management, detection and verification, integrity enhancement and governance that leads toward achieving LZS’ goals, mission and vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Establishing and maintaining a proper and suitable framework that supports implementation of the following functions : -
a. Efficient and systematic management of information / complaints on misconduct of corruption, abuse of power, malpractice, violation of LZS’ code of conduct to ensure that action is taken on every information / complaints.
b. Detecting and verifying complaints on criminal misconduct as well as violation of code of conduct and ethics, following which appropriate action is taken.
c. Ensure the acculturation, institutionalisation and implementation of integrity.
d. Strengthen integrity among staff at levels within LZS towards good governance, in addition to dealing with issues related to integrity, particularly corruption, malpractice and abuse of power.
2. To provide general administrative assistance, as and when required.
3. To carry out other instructions from Head Risk Management relating to integrity matters, as and when required.
REQUIREMENTS :
a. Excellent service record and zero disciplinary record.
b. Must possess the CeIO certification, or if not, to undergo the CeIO program within a maximum of two years from the date of appointment as Head of Integrity Unit.
COMPETENCY :
a. Effective interpersonal communication.
b. Ability to detect and verify information on conducts of corruption, abuse of power, malpractice and other offences defined under the MACC Act 2009 and all relevant internal policies and procedures.
c. Decision making skills.
d. Risk management.
e. Report writing and analysis.
f. Meticulous analysis in examination of facts and documents.
g. Outcome and achiement-oriented supervision and management.
